This cabinet card features four uniformed firemen who are members of the fire department’s chemical brigade (#1). The fire fighter on the extreme right is holding a metal hose nozzle and his uniform indicates that he is a foreman of the brigade. The fireman on the far left sideis wearing a corsage and holding a cigar. A backstamp on this cabinet card indicates that the photographer is J.P.Kildahl of Dundee, Illinois. The young gentleman seated in the front I believe is August Nolte. He is in a larger group photo in the book Dundee Township 1835-1985 pg. 335.
