The photograph was taken in Quipungo, located in Cuanza Sul, Angola. The card is from a series aimed at exhibiting Colonial Portuguese Africa (no. 140 “The Indigenous People of Quipungo). The postcard was postmarked in 1934 in Torres Vedras, Portugal. The card is addressed to a doctor in that municipality. Note the bent corner (lower left). The postcard is in overall very good condition (see scans).
