THREE SIBLINGS POSE FOR THEIR PORTRAIT : YOUNGEST IN THE GROUP IS NOT HAVING A GOOD TIME

This vintage real photo postcard features three siblings posed for their family photograph. The children are well dressed. The standing sister seems relatively relaxed about being photographed. Perhaps she has been through the process before. Her little brother is less accepting of the situation. He is frowning, as if to say, “you can make me get photographed, but you can’t make me smile”. He has his arm resting on big sister’s shoulder more for security than balance. Seated sister seems to be neutral judging by her flat affect. The “Noko” stamp box on the reverse of the postcard indicates that the postcard paper was produced sometime between 1907 and 1929. The postcard is in good condition (see scans).
