This vintage real photo postcard features a portrait of two uniformed police officers holding night sticks. They are wearing police badges on their jackets and their hats appear to have either badges or patches. This postcard has a Cyko stamp box which reveals that it was published sometime between 1904 and the 1920’s. SOLD

Samuel Stephenson Waters Jr, and brother George Stephenson Waters. Photo by Eastman Johnson aka Charles Fox of Fox Lane in East Northport. Until 40 years ago his waterfront mansion there was full of the millions of images he made between 1827and 1925. These two are his brother Reuben Chandler Johnson’s grandsons. Mary Todd Lincoln was Reuben’s mistress, he had 5 or 6 kids with her.
