This vintage real photo postcard features a portrait of a Belgian soldier sitting in his parent’s garden. He appears to be writing a letter. A framed cabinet card photograph is atop the table in front of him. The photograph captures a family portrait and individual photographs of members of the soldier’s family. It is likely that the pictured individuals are the soldier, his wife, and their two children. The soldier is identified on the reverse of the card as Paul Coppenyns.
