A mother and father pose for this cabinet card photograph along with their two young children and family dog. The dog appears to be a pure bred spaniel and I invite someone to leave a comment informing me of its probable breed. The image has great clarity and the father looks very proud of his family. Unfortunately, I do not know when J. L. Pinsonneault operated his St. Jean studio. I have seen photographs that he produced that were dated 1904 and 1905 so he certainly was taking photographs in those years. Perhaps a visitor to the cabinet card gallery will be able to provide additional information concerning Mr Pinsonneault.
