WEDDING PORTRAIT : WORLD WAR I SOLDIER AND TRADITIONAL BRIDE : RPPC (1910-1930)

This vintage real photo postcard features a young groom and bride. The groom is dressed in an army uniform of the World War I era while his bride is wearing a traditional wedding gown. She is holding an immense bouquet of flowers. The groom is displaying a bit of a smirk as he looks at the photographer. The AZO stamp box on the reverse of the postcard indicates that it was produced sometime between 1910 and 1930.  SOLD

The man and woman appear so very similar in the face. I think it may be possible that this is a bride and her brother.

Thats an interesting thought. The pair are sitting intimately close which made me think that they are bride and groom. Howeve, you may be right. Interpreting the content of these vintage photographs is one of the interesting aspects of collecting or viewing them.
