This vintage real photo postcard features a lovely uniformed Salvation Army couple. Note the man and woman’s “S” pin worn on their collars. The woman’s wire rimmed glasses are similar to the wire rims in style today. The Salvation Army was established in 1865. It began in London, England. Today, the Christian charitable organization has 1.7 million (Salvationists) in 131 nations. The “AZO” stamp box on the reverse of this photo postcard indicates that it was published sometime between 1910 and 1930. The image is a studio photo. This vintage real photo postcard features two handsome uniformed World War I era soldiers posing for their portrait at a studio in Baltimore, Maryland. The photograph was taken by Martin D Trainor. His name is embossed near the bottom right hand corner of the image. The Maryland Historical Society has one or more of his photographs in their collection. The AZO stamp box indicates that the postcard was published between 1918-1930. (SOLD)
This vintage postcard features a adorable little boy, or possibly a girl, sitting on a wooden tricycle. The photograph was likely taken on the front porch of the child’s home. Note that there are two figures of a child on a trike either drawn on, or part of, the child’s shirt. The two figures seem to be similar to the stitching on the child’s sleeve cuffs and collar. She was living in an era when wearing furs was not politically incorrect. Her head covering is a very nice accessory. She looks great. The woman appears to be displaying a pursed lips smile. The postcard’s stamp box indicates that it was published sometime between 1924 and 1949. This vintage real photo postcard features an African American mother posing proudly next to her adorable and well dressed young son. He is wearing an adorable outfit, probably his sunday best. The AZO stamp box indicates that the postcard was published between 1926 and 1940. 
This vintage real photo postcard features an image of a young boy riding a donkey. The boy is well dressed and is wearing a shirt and tie. He is seated on a saddle, holding the reins, and his feet are in the stirrups. Neither the boy nor the donkey appear happy. The reverse of the postcard identifies the boy as being Ralph W. Ruck and indicates that the boy was eight years old at the time of the photograph. Research reveals that Ralph was born in either 1906 or 1907 in Pennsylvania (this dates the image to about 1914). The 1930 US census finds Ralph living in Middlesex, New Jersey with his parents and sister. A 1936 business directory lists Ralph as living in Somerville, Jew Jersey with his wife, Bertha S. Ruch. Social security information reports that Ralph died in 1994.. This postcard is addressed to a boy in Jamison City, Pennsylvania. The postcard paper was produced by AZO sometime between 1904 and 1918.

This vintage real photo postcard features a seated young Italian beauty holding a large bouquet of flowers. She is wearing a hairband and a half smile. The postcard is color tinted. An inscription can be found on the reverse of the postcard. The Italian writing can be loosely translated as “I offer my sincere love and memories”. The woman’s name is also written on the back of the postcard. Her name is “Aigene Anziletti”. The postcard paper was produced by AZO sometime between 1924 and 1949.
