BABY SITTING PRETTY IN LUXURY CARRIAGE IN GERMANTOWN, OHIO

This cabinet card photograph captures baby sitting comfortably in a luxury baby carriage. There will be no discomfort from the sun for this cute baby; courtesy of the large umbrella built into this Rolls Royce of baby prams. The photographer is Tresize,of Germantown, Ohio. Research reveals that Ohio had a number of photographers named Tresize, and it is unknown which Tresize is responsible for this image? Dayton, Ohio was the home of The Tresize Brothers Studio as well as photographer S. P. Tresize.   Samuel P. Tresize was a photographer located in Logan, Ohio.  J.Q. A. Tresize was a photographer in Zanesville, Ohio and a partner in the Photography Studio named Jaquary and Tresize.  William C.Tresize was a photographer in McConnelsville, Ohio.  Suffice it to say, it is unknown which Tresize photographed this image. JUDAICA : HEBREW WRITING : CUTE LITTLE BOY : NEW YORK CITY : MAX SIMON : RPPC 

This vintage divided back real photo postcard features an adorable little boy. He is wearing a sailor outfit. Note his socks. There is a bow at the top of each sock. Also note the message on the reverse of the postcard is written in Hebrew. The card is dated 1924. The photographer of this child’s portrait is Max Simon. Simon was extremely likely, a Jewish man. He operated a studio at 331 Grand Street in New York City.  (SOLD)

PORTRAIT OF A BOY AND HIS VIOLIN

This vintage real photo postcard features a serious boy and his violin. At least, I think it’s a violin. In the past, I have not been particularly accurate in my identification of musical instruments. This photo was taken by Williams’ Pioneer studio which had locations in the English communities of Holloway, Wood Green. Stoke Newington, Tottenham, and Hackney. This postcard portrait is in good condition.   (SOLD)

YOUNG MOTHER FEEDS HER BABY : BEAUTIFUL PORTRAIT : A GERBER MOMENT : SNAPSHOT

This vintage snapshot photograph features a young woman feeding her adorable baby. This image looks like an advertisement for Gerber Baby food. It certainly could be a “Gerber Moment”. In the photograph, mom looks intently at her baby as the baby eagerly awaits the next spoonful. The photo is printed on German photo paper (GHG-Technik Berlin). This photograph measures about 4 x 3 inches and is in very good condition (see scans).

SWEET LITTLE GIRL AND HER LARGE DOLL : VIENNA, AUSTRIA : CABINET CARD

A sweet little girl poses for her photograph with her doll beside her. Both the girl and the doll are well dressed. The girl is holding a bouquet of flowers and has bows in her hair. This photograph was taken by Franz Fischer. His studio was located in Vienna, Austria.  SOLD

ADORABLE LITTLE GIRL : ALBION, ILLINOIS : SPUN DRESS : CABINET CARD PORTRAIT

This cabinet card portrait features an adorable little girl standing on a chair covered with a fur throw. She is wearing, a spun dress. This photograph was taken by the Ronald’s studio located in Albion, Illinois. The photo was likely taken sometime between 1880 and 1900. The photographer is likely Frank Ronald. The 1910 census reveals that he was a photographer and lived in Wayne City, Illinois (28 miles from Albion). Photographers of this era often had studios in  close together towns. The cabinet card is in very good condition (see scans).

ADORABLE TODDLER ASIDE HER HAPPY DOG : SERAING, BELGIUM : CARTE DE VISITE

This carte de visite features a sweet toddler and his/her adorable dog. The child exhibits a hint of a smile while the dog appears to be displaying a wonderful smile. To say the least, the dog seems happy to be at the photographic studio to pose with his little master. The child is wearing the customary unisex gown that children that age wore during the cdv era. This photograph was taken at the studio of Pierre Buretier in Seraing, Belgium.  SOLD

THREE SISTERS PORTRAIT : HOLDING FLOWERS : STRANGE SCULPTURE : NEW YORK CITY

This photograph is a portrait of three young sisters. They are cute and well dressed. The oldest and middle sister are wearing identical, or near identical, dresses. The girls are holding flowers. In the forefront of the image is a strange sculpture. In fact, the faces on the sculpture could be frightening to a young child. The girls are holding flowers. The girl’s portrait was taken by the American Photo Studio. CUTIE PIE IN A BONNET IN SYRACUSE, NEW YORK

This cabinet card features an adorable little girl bundled up in a heavy dress and wearing a bonnet over her dark curly hair. The ribbons she is wearing makes her appear to be wrapped like a gift. TWO SISTERS FLYING AN AIRPLANE : STUDIO PORTRAIT : RPPC

This vintage divided back real photo postcard features two young girls flying an airplane. The plane is of the photo studio variety. The girls, judging by appearance, are presumably sisters. Although it is not uncommon to see a studio airplane on a postcard, this particular plane prop is uncommon. (SOLD)
