BRITISH SOLDIER IN MUSSOORIE, INDIA

The city is located in the foothills of the Himalaya Mountain ranges and the city is sometimes referred to as “Queen of the Hills”.

  1. mussooree was at the time a hill station with R&R and hospitals for the lower ranks of the british army in india…note the soldier is not an officer.
