Our friend may be a widow, but she is wearing the very latest hair-style! What is even more fascinating is the fact that she has not groomed her eyebrows. By the time this photo was taken (1880+) women were quite into eyebrow grooming. I am discovering brows like what could be the Merry Widow, are more the exception than the rule here in this country.
