FOUR ADORABLE SIBLINGS IN BRESLAU, GERMANY

breslau kids_0007Gustav Rieke is the photographer who produced this image of a photogenic family of  siblings in Breslau, Germany. The reverse of the photograph has the notation “kinder Heuforth” written on the reverse which presumably can be interpreted as these children are from the Heuforth  family.  These kids are well dressed and appear to be happy while posing for their family portrait.

  1. Gee, just like today’s kids. Huh?

  2. You can tell by the way they are dressed that they come from a wealthy family, perhaps even aristocracy. I know the Richthofens were from Breslau, perhaps they are related!

  3. Wrocław, Poland now and before.

  4. Such peaceful presence. – I think it’s called quietude. – – Hey, I’m commenting on my own comment! – The two boys have such beautiful dark eyes. Gentle knitting of children’s hands – not to mention direct eye contact, doesn’t happen when their hands and eyes are fixed on electronic gadgets. – What have we lost?
