Hattie has intense eyes and is wearing an interesting large hat. Research could not garner any further information about this individual. The photographer of this image is John A. Could the inscription be SUGEL ?
The inscription is not completely legible. The name could be Sugel or Sugle. It is even possible it could be “Augle” or “Siegel”. However, best bet is Sugle. I spent a lot of time looking for genealogical information under these names but had no success.
