Such innocence. She looks like one of Raphael’s angels hovering in the corner-ceilings of his paintings. She probably grew to be a beautiful young woman. I wonder how old she was when she died….That’s the best thing about CC – they make you think: “I wonder….” Thanks again!
Just what I was thinking, Victoria. These photos have always intrigued me about the people’s lives, not only the children but an old couple I have who obviously lived on a farm all their lives and loved the horses and dogs that appear in the photos with them. I’ve collected CDVs and snapshots for years and have 4 large boxes full, just waiting for me to have time to revisit them.
