This vintage real photo postcard features an adorable little boy wearing a beautiful Native American costume. Note his feathered headdress. It is likely that this child was photographed in France and is dressed for the Carnival. This private studio postcard is in excellent condition (see scans). Addendum: A visitor pointed out to me that this postcard is not of French origin (see his comment below). The postcard is actually English.

What makes you think it’s French?
Thanks for the correction. The postcard is most likely English. The writer’s note is written in English and it is addressed to someone in Surrey England. The stamp and postmark are also English. I am not sure why I wrote that the postcard was French. Thanks again.
It wasn’t meant to be a correction. I was just curious. This costume looks like it might have been made for a fancy dress party but variations of it were popular for playing “Cowboys and Indians” up until the 1960s. More innocent, less sensitive times.
