This tintype photo portrait captures a pretty young woman. She is likely in her teenage years. She is wearing a fancy dress with ruffles and lace. The teenager has a bow in her hair. This tintype has unusually excellent clarity and incredibly few imperfections compared to the vast majority of tintypes surviving today. Tintypes were popular in the 1860’s and 1870’s.
