This vintage real photo postcard features a smiling baby sitting on a fur covered chair. The child is not sitting on the seat unsecured. The baby is likely sitting on his mother’s lap. Mom is hidden from our view. It is also possible that the baby is being held in place by a brace hidden by his gown. An inscription on the reverse of the card reveals that the child’s name is Vernon Walker. This postcard has an AZO stamp box which indicates that the card dates back to between 1904 and 1918.
