This cabinet card portrait features two adorable sisters holdintg a pretty doll. Both girls have their eyes wide open as they stare at the photographer. This photo was taken by the Newman Photographic Art Studio in New York City. Samuel J. Newman originally had a partner, Edward Leaming, when he started his photography business. Between 1902 and 1906, Newman operated independently at a Lexington Avenue address. This photo was taken before he moved to the Lexington Avenue location. This photograph has been trimmed on the right side of the card. I feel compelled, despite the Good Condition of the rest of the photograph, to rate the card as being in Fair Condition (See Scans).
