This vintage chrome postcard features a woman surrounded by Giant Zinnias. These are new and improved Zinnias raised in the fields of California’s Floradale Farms. Floradale Farms was established by W. Atlee Burpee (Burpee Seed Company) in 1909. The farm was located in Lompoc, California. Zinnias are a member of the “sunflower tribe”. They can be found in The Southwestern United States all the way to South America. They are noted for having a solitary long-stemmed flower and coming in a wide variety of bright colors. This postcard was published by the Henry McGrew company. SOLD
