SEVEN BOYS AND THREE DOGS STAND ACROSS A DIRT ROAD : HUNTING : RPPC : 1911

This vintage divided back real photo postcard features seven boys and three dogs standing across a dirt road. One of the boys is holding a rifle and the presence of the three dogs indicate that this image has a hunting theme. Note the houses and trees visible in the background. This vintage postcard was postmarked in 1911.  (SOLD)

YOUNG ADORABLE CHILD WITH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE : TWO LARGE DOGS : RPPC : (1922)

This vintage real photo postcard features an adorable young child and two very large dogs. The child is wearing a nautical type outfit and it’s top includes a large bow. Two large dogs lie beside their young master. An inscription of the reverse of the card indicates that the child’s name is Claude and that he was two years old at the time that this photograph was taken. The inscription reveals that the photo was taken in 1922. The card has a K Ltd. stamp box. This postcard has been trimmed to fit into an album or picture frame. The card measures about 4 1/2″ x 3 1/8″, has excellent clarity, and is in excellent condition. (SOLD)

DAPPER MAN AND HIS THREE HUNTING DOGS IN PENDLETON, OREGON

A well dressed man poses for his photograph at the studio of a photographer named Ward, in Pendleton, Oregon. The man is wearing a derby and a pocket watch. He is holding a cane and is posing in front of a beautiful backdrop. The gentleman is accompanied in this image by three dogs. The dogs appear to be retrievers; and most likely, they are hunting dogs.  (SOLD)

Two Hunters and their Rifles and Dogs (1887)

huntersThis terrific Cabinet card image shows two Hunters and their three hunting dogs. Both gentleman are wearing boots and are holding rifles. This studio photograph was produced by Walter of Rochester, New York. Notation on the reverse of the card identifies the hunters and is dated 1887.
