The well dressed woman is wearing a long white dress, fingerless gloves, and a straw hat that appears to be floating atop her head. She is clutching a rose and adorned with jewelry, including a necklace and earrings.

  2. I looked it up on the website of Mrs Danuta Thiel-Melerski. There is the photographer HERZFELD, MARTIN separately listed in Dresden and in Leipzig, but also stating the ‘Atelier’ (meaning studio). In Dresden, he began in 1906. Here are the links:

    In the photo there, the woman has a similiar pose with one arm behind her back.
