This vintage real photo postcard features a portrait of a beautiful young woman. She is well dressed and her ensemble includes strings of pearls as well as a very large hair bow. What is the purpose of the hair bow. I believe that this hair accessory communicates youth and innocence, resulting in increased attractiveness of the model. On the subject of models, the pretty woman seen in this photograph may be the same model photographed in another postcard in the Cabinet Card Gallery collection. You can see the postcard below.
