This cabinet card photograph appears to be a wedding portrait. Both bride and groom are attractive. The young woman in the photo seems to be very young. She looks like a teenager while the groom seems to be several years older. This photo was taken in 1897 by the Masters and Skolds studio located in Princeton, Illinois. The photographers were partners between 1896 and 1903. The 1900 census identifies Charles T Skolds (1862-?) as one of the partners. The name “Nora” is inscribed on the reverse of the photograph. It is likely that Nora is the name of the bride. This cabinet card is in excellent condition.

This vintage real photo postcard features an attractive couple posing for their wedding photo. Both bride and groom appear happy on their special day. Note their half smiles. The groom is wearing his German Luftwaffe dress uniform. The Luftwaffe was the German Air Force. This photograph was taken either pre World War II or during the conflict. The wedding took place in France. The groom was Albert Delattre and the bride was Jeanne Cuvellice. They are an attractive well dressed couple. The photographer who took this wedding portrait was Leopold Moulin. The preceding information came from the former owner of this postcard. This postcard was published by Thomas Illingworth & Co. (T.I.C.). The company was a paper manufacturer founded about 1904. They produced the “Horse Shoe Brand” photographic paper in London England. In 1919 they were bought by British Photographic Supplies company, Ilford. An internet source states that the company produced postcards with horseshoe stamp boxes between 1919 and 1930.
