The studio was located in Evansville, Indiana and at one time was called the Sunbeam Gallery. . The men in this photograph are wearing identical outfits. Note their striped pants, derby hats and canes. The man on the left is holding a cigar. They are posed in front of a nice backdrop depicting a forest.

Unusual. The clothing seems almost like theatrical costuming.
I had the same thought In regard to the theatrical appearance of the men’s clothing. In fact, they look like they’re about to start tap dancing to the song “By the Light of the Silvery Moon”.
I noticed that the men seem to have umbrellas. ….not canes.
